In 1911, Serafino Vincenti—founder of an industrial plant in Civita Castellana—was awarded three gold medals at the first Roman Ceramic Exhibition. In 1927, alongside his brother, he founded “Ceramica Vincenti,” specializing in sanitary ware. Although production ceased in 1997, the company remains a cornerstone of the historic Civita Castellana ceramic district.
Together with brands like FLAMINIA, CATALANO, AZZURRA, GALASSIA, SIMAS, VITRUVIT, GLOBO, KERASAN, ALTHEA and FACIS GSI, and others, Vincenti helped forge the “Ceramiche Civita Castellana” brand—a global hallmark of absolute quality and masterful Italian design.
ANTICA Series by Vincenti
The Antica series is the quintessential representation of the company. As the name suggests, it features an “antique” classical style, with curves and proportions so perfectly calibrated that the design remains timeless today. It sits in the same high-end stylistic bracket as Ideal Standard’s CALLA by Ideal Standard and BELLA EPOQUE by Cesame. A unique feature is its “figure-8” internal bowl shape, mirrored by its original toilet seat. You can find Antica in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ Clik HERE ]
CURVA Series by Vincenti
This was Vincenti’s mass-market series. While it didn’t reach the massive production volumes of icons like Ideal Standard’s TESI (with which it shares a striking resemblance), it perfectly captures the “Golden Age” of 1980s bathroom design. It competed alongside bestsellers such as Dolomite’s CLODIA and Pozzi Ginori’s FANTASIA. In our store, we offer various replacement seats for this model, ranging from painted wood to high-quality polyester-coated wood and modern thermoset versions. In the Sintesibagno store you can find different toilet seat covers for this toilet: from the varnished wooden one to the more upmarket one in polyester cast wood, to a more modern version in thermoset with a wrap-around lid, the link is at [ Clik HERE ]
ELEGANT Series by Vincenti
A rectangular sanitary fixture from the 1970s, the Elegant stands out for its unique narrowing at the rear, which creates a sleek, slender silhouette. It shares the design language of its contemporaries, such as CIOTTOLO Flaminia and FIESTA Catalano. Dedicated replacement seats are still available in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ Clik HERE ]
VERSILIA Series by Vincenti
The Versilia is one of the many “siblings” of the famous Conca series. Following the success of Ideal Standard’s rectangular design with a raised rear edge, Vincenti introduced this line to compete with: series CLIO Ceramica Globo, series DUCCIO Ceramiche Senesi, Sanitaryware POLO Ceramica Catalano and Series ADDA Facis GSI. Its toilet seat cover with 45° angled hinges can be found in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ Clik HERE ]
