Welcome to the second installment of our journey through sanitaryware collections named after iconic geographical locations. In our previous post, we explored PIEMONTE by Pozzi Ginori, EMILIA by Vavid and ROMA by Catalano. Today, we continue our tour through history and geography.
ERICE Series by Cesame

Named after the breathtaking Sicilian town of Erice (Wikipedia), this collection was produced by Cesame, a brand formerly based on the island. Erice is a masterpiece of the “rectangular era” in bathroom design. Its unique geometric shape features sides that flare out slightly before tapering back in, creating a sophisticated architectural effect.
- Replacement Seats: All Erice toilet seat covers are always available in the Sintesibagno store at the following links: white, champagne, deer, mink cesame (brown) and blue siam.
PETRA Series by Ceramica Dolomite

The world-renowned archaeological site in Jordan lends its name to this successful series by Dolomite. Alongside classics like DAHLIA, NOVELLA, GARDA and CLODIA, Petra (Wikipedia) defined an era for the company. It features a modern “D” shape with a distinctive 45° outward bevel on the upper rim, offering a light, contemporary aesthetic.
- Replacement Seats: While the original version is no longer produced, in the Sintesibagno store we have selected some good and precise alternatives, you can find them at the following link [ clik HERE ]
PAESTUM Series by Ceramica Globo

Back to Italy, specifically Campania, for the Paestum (Wikipedia) series byCeramica Globo. The name of this ancient archaeological park is the perfect fit for a collection with a Retro/Classic soul. While it shares the timeless elegance of the Montebianco style, Paestum has been recently updated with modern materials like wrap-around thermoset seats.
- Replacement Seats: Paestum is reminiscent of the Montebianco style, which has recently been revisited stylistically and also offered with a wrap-around thermoset toilet seat cover, which you can find in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ clik HERE ]
PIENZA Series by Senesi

Named after a charming Tuscan village in the Val d’Orcia, Pienza (Wikipedia) by Ceramica Senesi is a quintessentially 1980s collection. At the time, its rectangular design was considered avant-garde, competing with heavyweights like Ideal Standard’s Tesi. It remains a landmark of Italian bathroom history.
