We have often encountered this extraordinary company, which has been writing the history of sanitary ceramics and bathroom furnishings since the early 1900s. Like any great brand, Pozzi Ginori has experienced eras of absolute splendor and quieter moments, but it has remained a constant pillar of the industry.
While its production dates back much further, we like to mark its “Year Zero” with the birth of the MONTEBIANCO series. Designed by Guido Andlovitz in 1925, this classic/antique line inspired countless ceramic series that followed.
The company reached its “commercial maturity” through its collaboration with Antonia Campi. This was perhaps its most prolific creative period, producing incredible series such as TORENA, SQUARE, CONCHIGLIA, TABOR and IPSILON. . In the 1970s, success continued with iconic square models like ITALICA, ITALO DUO and PIEMONTESINA.
Fast forward twenty years to the “Golden Age” of the partnership with Antonio Citterio. Between the late 2000s and today, a string of best-sellers emerged: EASY, JOIN NEW, JOIN OLD, 500, 900, Citterio, EGG and Q3.
Today, we explore the intermediate phase—the bridge between the late ’80s and the early 2000s—where Pozzi Ginori produced several other legendary series.
LINEA Series

Designed by the renowned Gae Aulenti, the Linea series is the definition of refined class. Starting from an oval upper plane, it plays with “solids and voids” in the body of the fixture, creating a logical style and perfect formal harmony.
- It was produced in white [ Clik HERE ] and in champagne colour [ Clik HERE ].
- If you are looking for a toilet seat in a more modern material and perhaps with slow-motion hinges, you can find it in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ Clik HERE ]
YDRA Series

The best-seller of its time. Ydra features a modern D-shape characterized by a distinct protrusion at the top of the ceramic body. It was the direct competitor to market giants like Ideal Standard’s TESI and Dolomite’s CLODIA.
- All Ydra toilet seat covers are available in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ Clik HERE ]
OASI Series

The “Plus” line of its era, designed for prestigious bathrooms. It features a rectangular shape with rounded corners and a unique upper rim that extends past the body. To preserve its aesthetic, we recommend the original-style seat.
- On such a particular sanitary ware we suggest, to avoid spoiling the aesthetic line, to mount the toilet seat cover like the original that you can find in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ Clik HERE ]
FANTASIA Series

One of the most successful oval shapes in history. Simple yet stylish, the original Fantasia (80s style) featured a perfect oval top and a slight forward tilt. It has since been replaced by Fantasia 2, which is more rectangular.

COLIBRÌ Series

The mass-market champion. Unlike competitors who used basic shapes for entry-level lines, Colibrì introduced a “teardrop” shape and a recessed base that lightened its silhouette, offering incredible value and design.
- We have several versions of toilet seat covers available for this sanitary fitting and you can find them at the following Sintesibagno link [ Clik HERE ]
IDEA (Wall-hung) Series

A series presented exclusively in a wall-hung version. While wall-mounted fixtures are common today, Idea was a pioneer of this trend, offering a unique formal interpretation of the style.
- In the Sintesibagno store, we have the toilet seat available as the original at the following link [ Clik HERE ]
