This Catalano ceramic fixture successfully captivated everyone. We explored it previously in the post: “The Catalano Zero toilet seat. How many models are there in this series?” where we looked at the entire ZERO line. We at the Sintesibagno team believe that the ZERO 54 is the key to the entire program’s success.
What made this series special? Just look at the image alongside to understand. Whether in the wall-hung version shown in the photo or the floor-standing version, the defining element is the rear step. This parallelepiped is so significant in size that it becomes the main feature of the unit’s shape.
This Zero version has been out of production for some time (approximately 15 years), and while Catalano ceramics guaranteed replacements for a few years, its original toilet seat has now become nearly impossible to find.
But what is so particular about this toilet seat? Its uniqueness stems from the shape of the toilet bowl. It requires a toilet seat with precise dimensions and a fixed hinge. Adaptable toilet seats with adjustable hinges and therefore plates that extend a few centimeters simply won’t fit. The anchor holes are too close to the rear step.
So, if the original is exhausted and compatible versions don’t work, are customers left with a toilet without a seat?
No. The Sintesibagno team has worked with one of the largest toilet seat manufacturers to reproduce it, making the replacement toilet seat available for many customers.
The product, which is identical to the original (CODE 54ST) and has the same characteristics, is available in the Sintesibagno store at the following LINK (Click HERE).
