Ceramica Flaminia, a historic company in the ceramics sector, is known for its “WORK IN PROGRESS” design series (LINK, SPIN, TERRA). However, the company has a long history of successful sanitary ware production dating back to the 1950s and 60s. Previous posts have highlighted series like FIDIA, RELAX, VALENTINE (Old Type), EFI, CIOTTOLO, and SPRINT.
This article introduces three more notable Flaminia series:
METRO series (1980s-2000s):
This classic series from the boom years of the building market featured shapes and sizes typical of the era. It competed with top sellers like Tesi (Ideal Standard), Sintesi (Cesame), Clodia (Dolomite), and Luce (Catalano). All toilet seats for the Metro series are available in the store, we have recently also added a soft-close version in SLIM/PLUS thermosetting and you can find them in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ clik HERE ]
WEB series (1990s):
Characterized by softer, more fluid shapes, the Web series had a distinct narrowing towards the user, almost forming a triangular top. It was considered a large toilet, nearly 38 cm wide. Also of this series of sanitary ware is available in the Sintesibagno store its toilet seat, you can find it at the following link [ clik HERE ]
VALENTINE new type series:
This is an updated version of the “Valentine Old Type“. While visually similar from above, the key difference lies in the repositioned and closer-set toilet seat holes, eliminating the central rise found in the older model. You can find his toilet seat in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ clik HERE ]
