We’ve covered Pozzi Ginori sanitaryware in several previous posts. Let’s revisit a couple that are relevant to today’s topic. In “And then comes “Montebianco”Classic/Antuque sanitarywares and their toilet seats” we explored the significance of Pozzi Ginori’s Montebianco sanitaryware for creating a retro-antique bathroom style. And in “Pozzi Ginori Sanitarywares: the series of the modern age and their toilet seats (1st part)“, which was the first part of our discussion on Pozzi Ginori from the 2000s onwards, we looked at the launch of the POZZI GINORI COLLECTION catalog and the series it contained: Q3, JOIN, 500, EASY.02 [ clik HERE ]
Today, we’ll be looking at the latest sanitaryware series introduced by Pozzi Ginori, including the very newest: Acanto.
Sanitaryware Fantasia 2 by Pozzi Ginori

Following the success of the original Fantasia series in the 80s and 90s, which featured a perfect oval design (its toilet seat is still available), the new Fantasia 2 undoubtedly moves towards rectangular shapes, now available in a new version [ clik HERE ]. We can consider it a sister series to Metrica, which we’ll see shortly. This sanitaryware was introduced in both floor-mounted and wall-hung versions. You can find the original toilet seat and its dedicated variants in the Sintesibagno store at the following link [ clik HERE ]
Pozzi Ginori Metrica Series

In a previous post [ clik HERE ], we declared the Metrica series as the rectangular sanitaryware that best represents its category today. It’s rectangular at the top, rectangular at the base, with a precise change in depth and angle. You can find replacement parts for the Metrica model in the Pozzi Ginori section of Sintesibagno shop. Given its name and geometric shape, it could only be called Egg. To quote the Pozzi-Ginori catalog: “simple and perfect in its simplicity. The egg is a universal form that has always held a meaning of generation and regeneration.” This sanitaryware series, with its original lid, truly has the soft shape of an egg! The skilled hands of designers Sergio Brioschi and Antonio Citterio are clearly evident. Only the original toilet seat can be fitted here, which is available in the Sintesibagno store under the following link [ clik HERE ]
Pozzi Ginori Citterio Series

This is Pozzi Ginori’s most luxurious series of recent years. Its name reveals the designer: Citterio. We believe there might be some inspiration from the previous Egg project, but it has evolved into a unique and unmistakable form. It features larger dimensions, a raised back surface, and spherical shapes that, with subtle differences in angles, even manage to evoke the memory of a rectangle. A touch of magic from the renowned designer! Only the original toilet seat can be fitted here, and it’s available in Sintesibagno store [ clik HERE ].
Pozzi Ginori Acanto Series

As of 2018, the latest series presented by Pozzi Ginori (Geberit Group) is called Acanto. This is a truly great project, featuring a wide selection of washbasins in various sizes and depths. But most notably (at least for the floor-mounted series), the design of the toilet and bidet body is highly innovative. Essentially, as the sanitaryware descends from the top towards the floor, the regularity is interrupted at a certain point by a change in depth that lightens its form. The original toilet seat is already available in the Sintesibagno store [ clik HERE ].
We’ve explored other Pozzi Ginori sanitaryware series.
