Starck 2 is one of the series of bathroom furnishing products designed by Philippe Starck for Duravit.
As in all the others series designed by Starck, and in all the Duravit products, the aesthetic quality excels!
The weak point is the price of the toilet seat! The fact is that the spare part has a quite prohibitive price! Almost €200!
Finally the DEDICATED toilet seat is available, it is made specifically for the shape of Starck 2. It brings the price of the spare part for this toilet down.
The difference, which is another positive fact, is that the dedicated model is made of carved wood, coated with polyester resin, it is not made of thermosetting resin, and this makes it more solid. Maybe, it loses a bit from an aesthetical point of view, but the price of the DEDICATED product brings the costs significantly down!
